1. What you are requesting
Open Card is a financial publication of general and regular circulation. If you submit your email, you request the same daily note sent to every other reader. Nothing on this site or in a note is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security.
2. Fees
There is no subscription, no setup fee, and no charge to receive the briefing. You may stop emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link or by writing to editor@opencardmedia.com.
3. No investment advice
Open Card Media LLC is not a registered investment adviser or a broker-dealer. We do not manage money or take custody of funds. We do not review your account, objectives, or tax situation. You are responsible for your own research and decisions. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the US Securities and Exchange Commission, FINRA, or any government agency.
4. Risk
Trading stocks and related products involves risk of loss, including loss of principal. Past commentary does not indicate future results. Check any figure on a public quote source before you use it. Open Card does not promise that readers will profit, avoid losses, or outperform any benchmark.
5. Positions and compensation
Open Card and its staff hold no position in any name mentioned in a note unless that day’s send discloses the position. We do not accept compensation from issuers to mention securities.
6. Delivery and accuracy
Notes may be late, thin, or contain a figure that you should not rely on without checking a public source. Quiet sessions are not removed, and rows are not rewritten after the close to suggest a better outcome. Email is the primary request path. A one-way Channel, if offered, carries the same text and is not a private tip. Replies are not enabled.
7. Privacy
We use your email to send the briefing you requested and service notices. We do not sell your email list. You may ask us to delete your email by writing to editor@opencardmedia.com.
8. Acceptable use
You may not republish the note as your own product, scrape the list, or present Open Card as a registered adviser, broker, or Meta/WhatsApp partner. WhatsApp is a product of Meta. We are not affiliated with Meta.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Open Card Media LLC is not liable for trading losses, missed notes, or decisions you make after reading a publication of general circulation.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a court finds one section unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
